From the Organizer
The 19th annual Waldo McBurney Race will be held on August 2nd in Quinter, Kansas. The race is sponsored by Castle Rock Health and Fitness and all proceeds are used to support local fitness centers in Quinter, Grainfield, and Gove. The 5k race starts at 8 am at the Quinter City Park. The 5k route winds through the town and is a fast course with good support from the community. After the 5k, the 1 mile is a nice race for those who don't feel comfortable going 5k and is a nice cool down for 5k finishers. After the 1 mile, there is a 200 meter kids race that is a joy to watch the youngest athletes compete and finish.
