From the Organizer
We are back for the region's LARGEST Annual Turkey Trot Training Challenge and we can not wait to get started!
Kicking off Sunday, September 20th, the Turkey Trot Training Challenge is a 10-week program designed to get Capital Region runners ready to participate in the Regions Turkey Trot taking place Thanksgiving morning. The program is a full running plan and is designed to train participants to complete their BEST 5K or 10K. It is comprehensive, including injury-prevention, nutritional, strength and flexibility elements.
The team at Choice Physical Therapy in Troy (www.choiceptny.com) brings an exceptional training experience.
**This year, our group runs will be held Sunday mornings at 8:30am & Tuesday evenings at 6pm. Halfway through the season we may switch from Sunday mornings to Saturday mornings. This will help to accommodate religious services and coaches schedules. We will be starting with a dynamic warm-up at the start time.
