From the Organizer
On Friday September 4, Trials of Miles is hosting a special day of cross country racing at Morven Park in Leesburg, Virginia. The event is designed to kickoff the 2026 racing season for high school athletes, but there will also be an open race for friends and family who want to experience the magic of cross country racing for themselves! The cost for the open race is $25 and the link to sign up can be found below! In addition to a spectator friendly course, and races that take place in the late afternoon and early evening, runners can expect food trucks, music and a unique festival like environment out on the course. The goal of this event isn’t just to create another early season invitational, but rather to present cross country in a new way.
