The Trojan 5K

Join us for The Trojan 5K, a timed 5K run (held rain or shine) to benefit the Soddy Daisy High School Track & Cross Country Team! This is an inaugural fundraiser with all proceeds going to both teams. Whether you’re training for a PR, running for fun, or cheering on your neighbors, this event is a great way to bring the community together and support the student-athletes who work hard all season. The race starts right at the Fire Hall next to Municipal Park (11651 Dayton Pike) in Soddy Daisy, so you’ll be steps away from all the action as runners hit the course and spectators settle in.

Packet pickup will take place at David Casteel State Farm (9217 Dayton Pike) on the Thursday and Friday before race day. Please note that registration increases by $5 on the day of the race, so arriving early and securing your spot ahead of time is the best move! Parking is available, but we encourage everyone to arrive early to get settled, find a comfortable viewing spot, and enjoy the pre-race energy.

Good news for families and friends—walking is welcome for all participants, including dogs and strollers. While the event is timed for runners, walkers will not be timed, making it easy for everyone to participate at their own pace. Bathrooms are located in the park, and there’s plenty of shade, so don’t forget to bring your favorite chair—spectators are encouraged to bring chairs for maximum comfort while you cheer on the runners.
