Join Run Ohio Races for The Run For Your Life, a thrilling, interactive running event where survival is the ultimate goal! This isn’t just a race — it’s a test of speed, strategy, and nerves.
🧟♂️ Run For Your Life: The Outbreak – Mission Briefing
In the town of Fairborn, the scientists at the Run Ohio Races have been working tirelessly to create a cure for all diseases.
But something has gone terribly wrong.
At one of our facilities, there is inconclusive evidence that the cure has worked… and early signs suggest it may have had unintended side effects.
After reevaluating the formula, we discovered it is missing a critical ingredient.
Worse yet—our communication systems have suddenly gone dark.
We need YOU.
Your mission is to follow the paved path and deliver an urgent message to the communications team so they can help finalize the cure before it’s too late.
⚠️ Be warned:
There are reports of infected individuals along the route.
Our team has marked high-risk zones—proceed with caution as you run through these areas.
Stay alert. Stay fast. Trust no one.
The future of Fairborn depends on you.
🏁 How It Works
Participants can choose to register as either a Survivor or a Zombie:
🏃 Survivors
Survivors will run the course wearing a flag football belt.
Along the route, infected zones will be clearly marked on the course map.
Zombies may be lurking in these zones, ready to grab your flags!
If you reach the safe zone at the finish line with all your flags intact, you officially survive the zombie apocalypse.
Lose one or more flags? You’ve been infected… but you still finish the race!
🧟 Zombies
Zombies do not run the course.
Their mission is to stay within designated infected zones and try to capture flags from Survivors.
Costumes and creative zombie looks are highly encouraged!
🏅 Finisher Rewards
All runners receive a finisher medal, whether you survive or get infected.
Bragging rights included!
