The Lookout is a running race on September 20, 2026 in LOUISVILLE, KY, with entry fees from $20 to $30.
From the Organizer
The Lookout is a fun new road race over 7 beautiful miles through scenic Iroquois Park. You will find yourself visiting each of the overlooks at the top of Iroquois Park. As we head into the fall this race will bring some beautiful fall views of downtown, the meadow and wooded roadway around the top of the park as well as the rolling hills along the base of the park. If you have participated in the Iroquois Hill Runners Thanksgiving Day Run or Midnight Hill Climb you are well aware of the hill to the top. This hill is a slow steady climb but totally worth the downhill boost mid-way through the course. We hope you come out and join us!
Not up for the full Lookout Loop miles? Join us for the Short Loop for 3.4! The Short Loop is just over 5K to make the loop a complete loop around the lower pedestrian path of the park.
Medals
All participants receive a finishers medal.

Packet Pick-Up
Packet pick-up will be on-site near pavilion prior to race start. Please plan to pick-up your race packet with enough time to allow for pinning your bib before race start.
Parking--ARRIVE EARLY & CARPOOL
We ask that you plan to arrive early for parking. Carpool as much as possible. We want to be respectful of the parks so we are able to have many more great events in the future. Carpooling is preferred to make space for everyone planning to participate. If you are planning to run with a friend, we encourage carpooling.
Water/Snacks
We try not to send anyone home dehydrated or starving. We will have water and snacks at the finish line as well as a water refill station midway through the 7 mile loop.
