5K Run/Walk - Our mission is to honor Kellie Thompson Shiley's competitive spirit and love of physical fitness, family, and friends by holding an annual 5k and Family Fun Run on Maryland's beautiful Eastern Shore.
Kellie Thompson Shiley was just 31 years old when she unexpectedly passed away in July 2012. She left behind a loving husband, 2-year-old son, and twin daughters. She was a one of a kind person who touched so many lives and continues to inspire many more. She was an accomplished scholar-athlete, trusted and hysterical friend, determined and driven co-worker, loving and supportive sister, aunt, and daughter, loyal cousin and niece, and most importantly amazing wife and mother. Her strength, sense of humor, and voice are unforgettable.
