The Clarksburg Pepperoni Roll 5K

Welcome to the 7th Annual Clarksburg Pepperoni Roll 5K Race, benefitting The Clarksburg Children's House Montessori School!  Did you know that Clarksburg, WV has the most pepperoni roll bakeries in the entire state? The Clarksburg Children's House (TCCH) wanted to showcase this unique feature of our city and support our local bakeries, while raising money for our beautiful school located in the historic Glen Elk neighborhood of Clarksburg.  All the proceeds from this event will support our fundraising efforts at The Clarksburg Children’s House. Runners that register before September 14th will receive a free race T-shirt with the famous running pepperoni rolls, designed by WV artist Liz Pavlovic.

PLEASE NOTE - THOSE THAT REGISTER AFTER SEPTEMBER 14 WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED A RACE TSHIRT. A SMALL AMOUNT OF EXTRA SHIRTS WILL BE AVAILABLE WHILE SUPPLIES LAST FOR THOSE REGISTERED AFTER 9/14, BUT NOT GUARANTEED.

All registered runners before September 14th will also receive a FREE commemorative race medal! Medals will be handmade and generously donated by Florence Fired Pottery, made right here in Harrison County, WV!

This year, we're excited to welcome the Blessed and Grounded food truck, This & That Bakery and a variety of additional locally made pepperoni rolls for sale before, during, and after the race. We encourage you, your friends, and family to spend your morning with us! Please note, our race starts promptly at 9AM.

This is a family-friendly race and kids 12 & under are welcome to run or walk with parents or guardians for FREE. However, only children REGISTERED for the 5K will receive a t-shirt, medal, and chip timing.

We are THRILLED to announce our Kid's Mini Pepperoni Roll Fun Run is returning for the 3rd year! We started this run in honor of Ms. Jennifer Brazier, one of the Founding Directors of The Clarksburg Children's House. This run will be open to kids ages 12 and under and will be a modified shorter course immediately following the 5K (approximately 10AM). Registration IS required, but there will be no chip timing. This is purely for fun and all registered kids by Sept. 14 will receive an exclusive Fun Run t-shirt and prize for participating.

RACE ROUTE:

We will be returning to the Veterans Memorial Park in Clarksburg this year, with the race starting in front of the Freedom Shelter. The race route will head from the Freedom Shelter to the park trail, going towards the right, making two full loops, then back to the Finish Line in front of the Freedom Shelter. 

The Fun Run will also start in front of the Freedom Shelter, immediately following the final racer from the 5K, at approximately 10AM. This will be a short, straight run directly across the front of the Freedom Shelter in a blocked off area of the parking lot. 

HOTELS: 

If you are coming from out of town The Hilton Garden Inn and Days Inn are two close hotels to the 5k race.
