THE AMAZING SPOOKTACULAR 5K RUN & WALK
The MISD Education Foundation proudly present the The Amazing Spooktacular 5K Run & Walk presented by Fuel City, benefitting Mesquite ISD teachers and students. Proceeds fund innovative classroom grants that fall outside of the normal state budget.
Join us on October 24, 2026 as we celebrate Mesquite ISD with The Amazing Spooktacular 5K Run & Walk, held in conjunction with the Mesquite ISD Read.Play.Talk. Festival at Town East Mall. Wear your favorite Halloween costume and join us for a great time, for a great cause! Kids participating in the 5K get FREE trick-or-treating and FREE Kid's Zone access at the festival, along with dozens of vendor booths, fun activities and food trucks!
REGISTRATION OPTIONS:
Adult 5K - $35 (Ages 19 and up. Price increases to $45 on Race-Day)
Student 5K - $20 (Ages 1-18)
Race Packet Includes:
- Official Event T-Shirt
- Custom Commemorative Finisher Medal
- Race Number/Bib - The 5K will be chip-timed, but many of our participants choose not to be timed and simply walk the course with family and friends.

- Awards will be given for the Overall Male & Female and 1st place will be awarded in both male and female in the following age groups. NEW THIS YEAR...AWARDS WILL BE GIVEN AT A CEREMONY FOLLOWING THE 5K:
