Come and "Uncork the Fun" at the Annual Swiss Wine Festival Vevay River Walk/Run 5K. The 5K will begin at the edge of the Ohio River and progress down scenic Market Street. The course will circle the town of Vevay and finish back at the Ogle Riverfront Park. The course will be run on hard surface streets and is flat and fast. Stay for the Swiss Wine Festival which offers a wide variety of food booths, entertainment on 3 stages, Arts & Crafts, Grape Stomp, Amusement Rides, Grand Festival Parade, Fireworks, and Riverboat Cruises. THE RUN – All runners will be timed. Awards will be given to the top finisher in each of the 7 age categories in both male and female divisions along with an overall winner male and female. Random drawing for prizes will be held for all participants after event. Age Brackets: 14 and under, 15 thru 18, 19 thru 29, 30 thru 39, 40 thru 49, 50 thru 59, 60+
THE WALK – This event will be competitive and awards will only be received by the top female and male walker. Don't worry if you aren't here to win, everyone is welcome for this fun and family friendly event. There will be no age categories.
