Get ready for a colorfully awesome time at the Surviving the Color 5k in Effingham, IL!
This run benefits the organization the Team of Mercy Newton IL branch whom offers assistance to those left behind after an attempted or completed suicide. Serving the surrounding counties.
This is the 5th Surviving the Color event benefitting the Newton, IL division of Team of Mercy. This event is to raise funds and awareness for our Chapter of Team of Mercy to better help those in need in our local community.
Race Day Schedule:
7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. - Packet Pickup and Race Day Registration
8:45 a.m. - Pre-Race Ceremony
9:00 a.m. - Race Starts!
10:30 a.m. - Course Closes
11:00 a.m. - Closing Ceremony
All Participants will receive:
- An awesome Surviving the Color t-shirt*
- A custom Surviving the color bib# with your name printed on it**
- 8 total color stations where you will be drenched in color!
- Post-race refreshments
* The t-shirt cut off is September 5th you must be registered by this date to receive an event t-shirt
** The cutoff date to have your name printed on the custom bib# is August 31st. If you are running in memory of someone you can also choose to have their name printed on the bib#.
Children 8 & under can participate with a registered parent / guardian for free. However they will not receive race materials. You must be registered in order to receive any race materials.
