Quantify your steps for a cause! UNICEF in Lake County is hosting a 5K Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, August 29th.
The location of our event is 651 Old Checker Rd Willow Stream Park, in Buffalo Grove IL. The registration includes a complimentary T-Shirt and a Culver's Free Scoop of Custard Coupon. **THERE IS A LIMITED QUANTITY OF T-SHIRTS AVAILABLE
Whether you are a runner, a casual walker, or looking for a fun family activity, we have an event for you. Our fun run is structured to accommodate participants of all ages. We offer both the 5K Distance as well as a shorter, 1 Mile Loop! Participants will be using the park's path. Alongside the path, the event offers a full community festival featuring food, sponsor booths, and interactive games for all attendees. The race begins at 9:00AM, but we recommend that all participants arrive an hour early to check in and grab their swag! All net proceeds from this event directly benefit UNICEF. Your registration and fundraising efforts directly empower UNICEF to protect children's rights worldwide, ensuring every child has access to an equitable future. After the event, head out to Culver's for lunch as when you dine-in, drive-thru or carryout from Culver's of Buffalo Grove, Culver's will donate 25% of group sales! All you need to do is show present this flyer--either digitally or physically--when placing the order.
