From the Organizer
Join us at Mount Saint Francis of Assisi on August 1st for a morning of community and purpose! Whether you prefer a scenic 1-mile stroll or want to tackle our brand-new 5K challenge, every step you take directly supports women healing from the trauma of sexual exploitation.
Bakhita Mountain Home offers an opportunity for survivors of sex trafficking to continue to heal and grow individually while connecting to a supportive community. BMH is an independent communal living program that provides support for ongoing goal development and achievement. Our mission is to support women in healing from the trauma of sexual exploitation and in achieving independence by providing an established residential home, trauma-informed practices, and life-enhancing skills. BMH is a rent-free program where individuals may stay for up to two years.
Walk-in registration begins at 8:00am on 1 August 2026 at St. Francis of Assisi. Participants must register before July 18, 2026 to receive the beautiful Bakhita Mountain Home t-shirt. T-Shirts are no longer available for order during the registration process after July 18, 2026 in order to allow time for order placement.
