Stepping Forward: World PT Day 5K for Stroke Awareness is a running race on September 8, 2026 in Charlestown, MA, featuring the 5K distance.
From the Organizer
Celebrate World PT Day with a community 5K run/walk in partnership with Tedy’s Team and the MGH PT Club. This scenic waterfront course through the Charlestown Navy Yard highlights the power of movement in stroke prevention and recovery. Participants of all abilities are welcome to run, walk, or roll as we come together to honor survivors, raise awareness of cardiovascular health, and recognize the impact of physical therapy. The event will feature an accessible flat route, educational BE FAST signage along the course, and a post-race gathering at The Anchor. Every step supports recovery, community, and the future of rehabilitation.
