Join Us for a 5K Run/Walk at Bruemmer Park
Come together for a meaningful 5K Run/Walk along the scenic Trail as we raise awareness for mental health, honor those we've lost, and support a vital cause.
Along the route, participants will encounter yard signs decorated with photos, messages of hope, and stories of loved ones affected by mental health challenges. These signs serve as powerful reminders of why this cause matters. After registering, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to personalize your sign in advance.
You can also send photos, which can be of people they lost to mental health, reasons to keep going, such as family, nature, etc., or even quotes, to abb.shimanek@gmail.com. These photos will then be placed on a large board at the run.
Mental health resources will be available at the event to help educate, support, and foster understanding within our community.
Stick around after the race and purchase hot dogs and hamburgers at the pavilion as we gather in solidarity and support.
All proceeds from this event will benefit a local mental health charity. Your participation makes a difference.
