For over 30 years, runners and philanthropists alike have gathered at our 5K to raise money for the St. Barnabas Free Care Fund, which provides more than $6 million in free care to patients in need every year.
We invite people of all ages and skill levels - including competitive and amateur runners, joggers, walkers, teams, and stroller and wheelchair users - to join us for our 35th annual Free Care 5K, benefiting a great cause!

Awards and Prizes
Our 5K fundraiser doesn’t end right after the race! Come to the St. Barnabas Medical Center lawn immediately following the race for our awards ceremony and post-race party. We will have free food and beverages, music, and more. We will also be giving away dozens of prizes in our post-race drawing.
Awards will be presented to the overall first, second, and third-place winners, as well as prizes for top runners in each category. These awards include:
