St. Ann St. Vincent de Paul Friends of the Poor 5k Walk/Run is a running race on September 26, 2026 in Edenton, NC.
From the Organizer
On Saturday, September 26th, 2026, St. Vincent de Paul Conference of St. Ann Church in Edenton, NC, is sponsoring a Friends of the Poor Walk/Run. We are asking all of our neighbors in the surrounding areas to come forward and join us. This is a community endeavor that is dedicated to raising funds to alleviate poverty experienced by people in our midst—women, children, seniors, families, young adults, veterans—those we often fail to see as we go about our busy lives.
Same Day Registration starts at 7:30
Run/Walk Start Time: 8:30
For one beautiful morning in September, please walk these three miles with us through the streets of historic downtown Edenton. Together we can make a difference. Registration is FREE, although walkers and runners are encouraged, if possible, to make a personal donation, because all pledges, those made in person or those made online, go exclusively to benefitting the poor through St. Ann SVdP’s Conference. WITH A DONATION OF $25 OR MORE A 'FRIENDS OF THE POOR' T-SHIRT WILL BE PROVIDED. PLEASE SEND YOUR T-SHIRT SIZE BY EMAILING US AT svdp1858@gmail.com.
Note: This is not a timed event.
