The St. Dominic 5K, presented by St. Mark Catholic Church, begins and ends at St. Dominic Chapel and features a scenic course through charming downtown Cornelia. Participants will receive an official race t-shirt and professional race timing.
Awards will be presented to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers in five-year age group categories (10–14, 15–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, and continuing upward).
Participants must be registered by July 25, 2026, to be guaranteed a race shirt. Registrations will close prior to race day, and no same-day registrations will be available.
Packet pick-up will be held at St. Dominic Chapel on Friday, August 7, from 4:00 PM–6:00 PM. Race day packet pick-up will be available from 7:15 AM–7:30 AM at St. Dominic Chapel.
Proceeds from the St. Dominic 5K will benefit much-needed renovations at St. Dominic Chapel, a mission of St. Mark Catholic Church. Your support will help preserve and strengthen this sacred space for worship, faith formation, and community outreach for generations to come.
