Join Parker Recreation and Square Peg Therapies for our annual RunAbilities FUN Walk/Run/Roll! Now in its fourth year, RunAbilities FUN Walk/Run/Roll is a sensory-friendly community event where individuals of all abilities are invited to walk, run, roll, or ride at their own pace in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Date: August 1, 2026
Time: 9 a.m.
Location: Cottonwood Park West (8830 Apache Plume Drive, Parker 80134)
Cost: $25*
A fully accessible two-mile course will be available for walking, running, and rolling, with a separate designated course for participants who choose to ride a bicycle. The event features a sensory-friendly atmosphere with event-day fun like music, refreshments, a petting zoo, vendors, and giveaways. Everyone who registers leaves with an event T-shirt, race bib, and finisher medal. Friends, family, and caregivers are welcome to join the fun, making this a feel-good event all about movement, connection, and celebrating ability. All levels welcome!
Any proceeds from the event will benefit the Parker Recreation Scholarship Program, which helps families and individuals with disabilities, or with limited financial resources, participate in recreation programs and facilities.
