From the Organizer
Join the Oher Foundation on Saturday, September 27 for our 2nd Annual Run Towards the Future 5K, a community event where every step makes a difference.
Founded by NFL Super Bowl champion and best-selling author Michael Oher, the Oher Foundation empowers underprivileged youth with the resources, mentorship, and support they need to pursue their dreams. By participating in this race, you're helping young people in our community move toward a brighter, stronger future.
Together, we can Run Towards the Future, one step at a time.
All participants are required to pick up their race packet containing their bib number and participant shirt prior to the race.
For your convenience, an early packet pick-up will take place on Friday, September 26 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Fleet Feet Brentwood, 330 Franklin Rd Suite 262B Brentwood, TN 37027. Stop by during that time to grab your race materials and take advantage of a special in-store offer—$10 off a $50 purchase during packet pick-up hours.
We strongly encourage participants to pick up their race packets prior to race day to make race morning go as smoothly as possible and avoid long lines on race morning.
Race Day Packet Pickup: Packet pickup will be available near the start line starting at 7:00 AM on race morning for those who do not pick up their packets in advance. If you are planning to pick up on race morning, early arrival is highly recommended to avoid potential start delays.
All participants of the Run Toward the Future 5K will receive a commemorative finisher's medal! Awards will also be given to the Top 3 Male and Female Finishers.
