The inaugural "Run the Field: Land That I Love 5K & Fun Run" takes place on Sunday, September 20th, 2026, at Brookfield Local Schools.
The address for the school is: 614 Beford Road, Brookfield, Ohio 44403.
- The 400 Meter Fun Run takes place at 9:30am and is open to all ages!
- The 5K begins at 10:00am and the course consists of residential streets (some hills) and the track.
One section of our 5K course will be dedicated to our Friends, Family, and Community who are soldiers (both past and present) of our Armed Forces. If you would like to have your loved one honored, complete the registration form. A $10 donation will enable you to keep the poster insert* and you will receive a certificate of thanks. A small version of the poster will be added to our Military Honor Book that is viewable at the registration/information table (poster inserts may be subjected to the weather). If a poster is damaged by the weather or other race conditions, it may not be available to keep.

A "Warrior Games" competition will take place after the race - all ages are welcome!
- Compete in the Decathlon which consists of the following events:
Compete as an individual or part of a 3-person team! If competing as a team, please contact Megan at BrookfieldMiddleTrips@gmail.com with the three team member names.
- Or test your skills in the Trivia Competition or compete in the Scavenger Hunt!
- A patriotic costume contest will also take place! Participants are encouraged to wear costumes and there will prizes in these categories:
Proceeds to help with Brookfield Middle School trips to Washington DC and Camp Fitch.
