Run Muskegon Cross Country Night is a running race on September 23, 2026 in Muskegon, MI.
From the Organizer
Join Run Muskegon for a special Cross Country Night as we run or walk the Muskegon High School Cross Country Course at McGraft Park. This off‑site meetup replaces the club’s regularly scheduled Wednesday night run.
The 5K fun run/walk will begin immediately after the high school races, where local teams from Muskegon, Mona Shores, and Reeths‑Puffer compete in an OK‑Green Conference meet. Come early and cheer on our athletes — the boys race starts at 4:30 PM and the girls race at 5:15 PM. The community fun run is expected to begin at 6:30 PM.
This is an informal event: no bibs, official timing, or awards.
The 5K course features two loops inside McGraft Park, allowing participants to shorten the distance if they prefer. Strollers are welcome, but dogs are not permitted on the course.
Parking: The main lot near the clubhouse at 2204 Wickham will not be available. Please park in the gravel lot on McGraft Park Road by the lagoon or on the local streets.
Like all Wednesday night meetups, this event is free to attend. Optional donations will be accepted to support the Muskegon High School girls and boys varsity cross country teams.
