WE RUN FOR HER.

Join us for the 10th Annual 5K & 10K Run for HER. This family friendly event supports helping women survivors of human trafficking find freedom and leave this world's modern day slavery with hope, safe community, and recovery.

The course will be run on the beautiful trails of Norm Schoenthal Island, right along the Yellowstone River on the South side of Billings.  We also have an option to run VIRTUALLY, where ever you are located.

Run For Her 5k/10K benefits the HER Campaign.

Right now, it is estimated that there are over 40 million victims of human trafficking worldwide. Whether it is forced labor or sexual exploitation, traffickers treat people like commodities and transport them throughout the world to be used for profit. In the US, tens of thousands of women are victims of human trafficking each year. After a life of trafficking, few survivors receive emergency shelter placement and long-term residential care, resulting in high rates of re-victimization. The gap in residential care for survivors is significant and the need is immediate.

HER Campaign supports recovery and prevents re-victimization of survivors, helping them move from recovery to economic independence. We are committed to helping HER heal, grow, and find purpose through residential programs for survivors of human trafficking throughout the continuum of care. Through the continuum of care from recovery to economic independence, HER Campaign meets survivors where they are at and walks the journey of healing alongside them. Through our therapeutic programming and stabilization programs, we help provide the necessary resources, support, and community for survivors to thrive.

About This Sport

Endurance Grid is here to help you understand the sport, decide if it's the right fit, and learn how to prepare. For course distances, logistics, and race-day specifics, always defer to the race organizer's event page.

The 10K is the distance where running stops feeling like a starting point and starts feeling like a sport. Long enough to require a real training block. Short enough that race day is fully manageable for a first-timer who's put in the work.

Race day energy at a 10K is community at its best — strangers cheering you by name, people moving toward the same goal, an atmosphere that solo training can't replicate. It's fast enough that you'll spend the whole race pushing rather than managing your effort.

This is also the distance that builds the base for everything else. Most athletes who go on to run half marathons, do triathlons, or compete in HYROX started here. What you need: running shoes fitted to your stride, a training plan, and the race on your calendar. The registration is what makes the deadline real.

How long to train: 4–8 weeks for most fitness levels.
