Welcome to the Platte River Trail 36 Hour race in Casper, Wyoming.
Format:
Fat ass, self-support only, no fee.
Course:
Start at Tate Pumphouse (1775 W 1st St, Casper, WY 82604), run eastward on the Platte River Trail, turn around after 1.5 miles at Best Western Downtown (123 W E Street, Casper, WY 82601), and follow the same trail back to Tate Pumphouse.
For those who attempt 100 miles, after running the 3-mile out-and-back course 33 times, an optional 1-mile out-and-back course is available on the same trail, with the turnaround at Amoco Park (1007 W 1st St, Casper, WY 82604).
Time:
36 hours, from 6pm Mountain Time on Sep 25 to 6am Mountain Time on Sep 27.
