Planet Fitness Wichita OctoberFit Races 5K/10K

Planet Fitness Wichita's OctoberFit 5/10K is a spooktacular event! The OctoberFit 5/10K race is PF's way to give back to the community of Wichita by partnering with the local Boys and Girls Club of South Central Kansas. Proceeds raised through our OctoberFit campaign will benefit the youth of BGCSCK and the outstanding programs they provide! Sign up today for a fangtastic race and support our community. 

START/FINISH LOCATION: 

2101 W Sim Park Dr, Wichita. This is one mile west of the Wichita Art Museum, along Museum Blvd/West Sim Park Dr, at the workout park. Parking is available at 2101 W. Sim Park Dr or the new Botanica parking lot just east of the start/finish line. Both 5K/10K race course maps are available below. All races will return to the Start/Finish line. Our course will be well-marked and include guides.

When: Saturday, October 24th, 2026.

Time: Racers can begin to show up at 7:30 am. 

Trot of The Lil Pumpkins: 8:50 am

10K Race starts: 9:00 am

5K Race starts: 9:10 am

Costume Contest:  Starts at 7:45 am to 8:45 am. Come dressed up in your spookiest attire for our Halloween contest. The costume contest is open to individuals or couples only. The winning individual or couple will receive a $150 gift card. To participate, you must have gone to the judging area by 8:45 a.m. The winner (s) will be announced after the race.

All Racers will receive an OctoberFit race t-shirt, a participation medal, and goodie bag.

Packet Pickup: Packets will be picked up from Monday, October 20th, to Thursday, October 23rd, at our Planet Fitness Normandie location, 6592 E. Central Ave, Wichita, KS, 67206. 

Packets will also be available for pick up the morning of the race.
