Join us at Oglebayfest weekend, Sunday October 5th for our 0.5k Beer Dash!
And yes, you read that correctly. This is a zero-point-five-kilometer (0.5k) event, a fun run around Schenk Lake. Head out around the Schenk Lake 'course' and back; just try not to spill your beer, it's bad for the grass! Go whatever pace you like - no matter what there’s a beer waiting for you at the finish line! The winners will be determined by a combination of their time and by the amount left in their mug.

Important details:
Registration is 20$, and will begin at 10am at the Rathskeller, Hess Shelter.
This is an open course, meaning the course will NOT be closed.
You must bring a valid ID or driver’s license. You do not need to be 21 to enjoy the event, but you must be 21 to enjoy the beer. Please drink responsibly. (Registered, underage participants will receive a non-alcoholic beverage)
We run rain or shine! Please dress appropriately for the weather.
The fun-run starts at 11am, registration will begin at 10am at the Rathskeller/Hess Shelter. Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to start time. Don’t forget to plan ahead so you can stick around and take in the greatness that is OGLEBAYFEST.
