Nogawild Safari Run

5k NOGAWILD Safari Fun Run/Walk. September 12th, 2026

Join us for a one-of-a-kind, family-friendly run/walk through our Safari Park and surrounding woods, where you'll run or walk by tons of animals, including penguins, honey badgers, camels, zebras, capybaras, and more! This year, we're also welcoming our Scottish Highland cows to the event. Runners and walkers will get the chance to meet our Highland cows right after the race! Come prepared to walk/run on an all-terrain course. 

Check-in is at 7:30 a.m. The first wave goes out at 8:00 a.m.

- 8:00am & 8:30am NOGAWILD Safari Run/Walk 5k- About 3 total miles through the Safari Park. This course includes gravel, asphalt, mulch, uneven terrain, trail creeks, and woods, with 2 small water crossings (pavers/boards provided, or you can jump them if you'd like a challenge). Prefer to skip the woods? You can add another loop around Safari Park instead. Children under 4 are free with a participating adult.

- 9:00am Kids/Family Fun Run (1 mile) - Take 1 to 2 laps around the Safari Park for a wild and family-friendly adventure!

- There will also be a Virtual Option for those who cannot join us in person but would still like to exercise and help support the animals!

Each option's price will increase by $5 one month prior to the Fall Safari Run, so get your spot early!

Raffle and giveaway immediately follow the Safari Run. Awards will be given to the first 3 female and first 3 male finishers! Since waves start at different times and the race isn't timed, only finishers from the 8:00 AM wave count for awards. Even if you signed up for the 8:30 wave, you'll need to join the 8:00 (7:30am check-in) wave instead to compete. Each Safari Run participant will receive one free raffle ticket and a Safari Run medallion. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased. Must be present to win. Your registration for the Safari Run also includes admission to our Safari Drive-Thru after the event!

Please note: this is a fundraiser race and is not a timed race at this time. We encourage you to keep track of your own time with your watch.

Extras will be available for purchase on the day of the Safari Run, but stock will be limited, and we cannot guarantee your proper size at that time.
