Millersburg Food Run 10K, 5K & 1 mile
Ready, set, go! The Millersburg Food Run is scheduled for Sunday, July 26th at 8:00 am!
The Millersburg Food Run 10K, 5K & 1-mile is the Millersburg Seventh-day Adventist Church’s contribution to help meet the needs of some Holmes County families. The profit from the race will be donated to the Love Center Food Pantry. The Love Center Food Pantry has been servicing the needs of Holmes County since 1986. Nearly 1000 families utilize the food pantry and it has processed over 660,000 lbs of food a year. This Christian ministry is supported by businesses and congregations throughout Holmes County.
There will be competitive, professionally timed, 5K and 10K courses and a non-competitive 1-mile course. Runners, joggers, walkers, all are welcome! The race is on a flat, paved Rails-to-Trails path (former train track) starting at Hipp Station Depot near historic downtown Millersburg, Ohio. The race course runs through wooded areas and farm fields. You will sometimes see deer and wildlife along the way. You may even see a bald eagle! Amish buggies and cyclists regularly use this trail; be prepared to share the space.
All participants will receive medal, goodie bag, and a ticket for prize drawing of gifts/gift baskets. T-shirts will be on a first-come first-serve basis for registrations after June 29, 2026. Gift basket donations are from local businesses. Drawing for the gift baskets will be done after the race has started so participants can check to see if they’ve won when they return to the finish line. There will be a beverages and snack table available for the participants after the race.
