Registration

• Registration before July 23: $25
• Registration before August 23: $30
• Those who register before August 25 will receive a complimentary race day T-shirt!
• Registration will remain open until race week but prices will increase to $35 after August 23.

When & Where

• Our first annual 5k Dental Dash will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
• Our route is through Lake Park, beginning and ending at the Summer Stage.
   

Why

Proceeds from this event will benefit patients at Children's Wisconsin Hospital and Marquette University School of Dentistry by sponsoring their cleft lip and palate care! Our mission at Miles for Smiles is to provide resources and support to patients with cleft lip and palate conditions through fundraising, volunteering, and community outreach. Through our annual 5k race and other fundraising efforts, we help sponsor surgeries and care for families in our local Milwaukee community. Through our volunteer and outreach programs, we aim to increase awareness, connect students with opportunities to serve those affected in our community, and promote access to comprehensive cleft care.

Parking

• Navigate to 2975 N Lake Park Road, Milwaukee, WI 53211
• Parking is available near the Start Line at Summer Stage and at Bartolotta's Lake Park Bistro (5 minute walk to the Start).

Packet Pickup

• Packet pickup will be available the day before the race, 9/25, at Helfaer Recreation Center on Marquette University's campus
  • 4-7pm
  • 525 N 16th St, Milwaukee, WI 53233
• On race day, packet pickup will begin at 7:00am at the Start Line.
• Have the QR that is attached to your registration confirmation email ready at pickup.
• Included in the packet will be your race bib, race day T-shirt, and other treats from our sponsors!

Runners

Fast runners, please move toward the front of the start line. Average and slower-paced runners, we ask that you stay toward the back to allow the competitive runners to start first. Remember, your official time begins when you cross the start line and ends when you cross the finish line, so there’s no need to rush.

Walkers

Please stay toward the back of the start line and allow the runners to take off first.

Post-Race Social

Join us after the race at The Tap Yard - Milwaukee for a Post-Race Social and a well-deserved beer! All drinks will be 20% off as a Miles for Smiles Happy Hour discount.
