Memphis Youth Athletics (MYA) XC Series is a running race on September 8 – October 31, 2026 in Memphis, TN.
From the Organizer
Our Fall Cross Country Program runs September to October. The season consists of regular season meets and a championship meet.
The ES/MS series includes the Frank Horton Classic and concludes with a regional championship meet that allows athletes from all over West TN a chance to qualify for the TN State Elementary and Middle School XC Championships in October.
The HS series offers 4 regular season meets and concludes with a City Championship in late October, before the TSSAA Region Meets. The Frank Horton Classic is not included and coaches must register their teams separately.
Volunteer coaches are needed to coach school based teams. Coaches can include school PE teachers, parent coaches, or other volunteers at their Elementary School, Middle School or the community. In most cases, this ‘team’ is considered a school club, supported by the parents and PTSOs. MYA will serve as your meet director and facilitator during the season. We do not hold practices nor train athletes during this part of the season. If your school does not have a program and you would like one then we can get you started! Everyone is welcome, whether your school has a program or not, you are home-schooled, or just love to run!!
