From the Organizer
The Wildcat Road & Trail 5K returns for its 16th year with another unique course experience across Mattawan’s campus.
Due to ongoing construction around the stadium and athletic facilities, this year’s course will look a little different than past years. While we lost access to a large portion of the traditional trail sections, we are still working to preserve the spirit of the event by incorporating select grass and trail-style areas throughout the course.
Runners should expect more paved roads and campus pathways than usual, along with one exciting addition: a mid-race loop around Mattawan’s newly developed track and stadium complex.
The current course plan has received preliminary approval, though minor adjustments may still occur as construction continues through the summer. The finalized course map will be posted closer to race day.
Food and drinks will be available following the race. Please note that dogs are not allowed on the course. The event will be held rain or shine, though delays or cancellations may occur in the case of dangerous weather. No refunds will be issued.
Lace up and join us for the 16th annual Wildcat Road & Trail 5K.
