Mary Parker's Run, Walk, Wag 5k is a running race on October 3, 2026 in Bar Harbor, ME, with an entry fee of $25.
From the Organizer
For seven years, Mary served as the Transportation Coordinator for Island Connections before her battle with cancer. This event is a tribute to her bright spirit and commitment to Island Connections' mission, Neighbors, and volunteers.
This race welcomes both runners and walkers, as well as furry companions on a leash.
All proceeds from this event directly support Island Connections, enhancing independence for older adults and people with disabilities on MDI and the surrounding islands. Island Connections provides essential transportation and other vital services through the dedication of our compassionate volunteers. As we mark over 25 years of neighbors helping neighbors, join us in celebrating community support and remembering Mary.
Check in will begin at 8:00 AM the morning of the race.
