From the Organizer
32nd Annual Maumee Area River Ride hosted by Toledo Area Bicyclists (TAB)
Date: Saturday, August 8, 2026
Location: Buffalo Rock Brewing Company, 345 Anthony Wayne Trail, Waterville, OH 43566
The 32nd Annual Maumee River Ride is back—and after last year’s incredible turnout, we’re rolling into 2026 with even more energy, more impact, and yes… more parking.
This event continues to be our largest club fundraiser of the year, and thanks to your generosity in 2025, we were able to donate 70% of all proceeds to bikes for kids. You’ve already seen the lives we’re changing. As you plan your ride this year, we invite you to once again consider our mission and the difference your contribution makes.
Note: Online registration is preferred. SAG Support will be provided by Spoke Life Cycles. There are public rest stops and gas stations located on the Ride with GPS route maps below (see links in the Ride Options section).

Registration and Donations!
We simply ask for a minimum $25 donation to help the club cover annual rider insurance. Every dollar helps us continue doing good in the community and supporting the club. A portion of the proceeds will help The Right Direction provide bikes to kids in need.

From Endurance Grid
Endurance Grid is here to help you understand the sport, decide if it’s the right fit, and learn how to prepare. For course distances, logistics, and race-day specifics, always defer to the race organizer’s event page.
Road cycling rewards pacing judgment and consistent time on your bike more than raw power. If you already ride regularly and can comfortably ride a few miles, you have a good starting base for most beginner-friendly events.
Built around sustained effort on a bike, exploring cities on the open road. Beginner distances create a great entry point into endurance sports.
