Marlborough St. Vincent de Paul Friends of the Poor Walk 2026 is a running race on September 26, 2026 in Marlborough, MA.
From the Organizer
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Conferences of Immaculate Conception and St. Matthias are walking together to fundraise for our Marlborough neighbors in need.
The walk is a 3 mile walk along the Assabet River Rail Trail. Walkers can walk the entire 3 miles or less if they prefer. Check in starts at 9:30am and the walk begins at 10:00 am. Registration is free!
Come and participate in the Friends of the Poor Walk, a heartfelt community event dedicated to aiding those facing economic struggles. Walk alongside us as we raise awareness and funds to support individuals and families in need in Marlborough. We provide direct assistance with food, clothing, rent, utility bills, and more. Driven by Catholic values, we assist anyone in need—regardless of race, religion, or background. With your help, we can make a meaningful difference through solidarity and compassion. Everyone is welcome to walk; we will have extra registration forms available at walker registration the day of the Walk.
Walkers are encouraged to make a personal donation and collect pledges from supporters: family, friends, and neighbors. All online pledges go directly to the Conference chosen by the walker. Asking for pledges is a great way to spread awareness of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul’s mission and values! Please become a Fundraiser for St. Vincent de Paul today!
Whether you're walking for Immaculate Conception or St. Matthias St. Vincent de Paul or showing your support for both, every step counts in our mission to alleviate poverty and provide essential resources to those who need it most. Join hands with fellow walkers and be a part of the positive change in our society. Together, we can create a brighter, more inclusive future for all.
