The Late Summer Meltdown 4-Miler is an out-and-back trail race taking place in Pen Park, within the City of Charlottesville. The course follows parts of the Rivanna Trail on both single track and double track trails. There are some rolling hills, some flat grassy sections, and overall is the least technical terrain of the summer series races.
This is the fourth and last race of the Charlottesville Summer Trail Running Series and whether you are registered in the series or not, your registration includes a post-race dinner and banquet immediately following the race.
There will be awards for the overall male and female winners, and then top 3 in each of the following age groups: Kids 12-U, 13-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
