Location:
2 Kenny Davis Blvd

Description
Come join us anytime between 8:00 AM on Saturday, August 8th and Sunday, August 9th for an unforgettable weekend filled with walking, running, encouragement, and community support. Whether you want to complete one mile or spend the entire weekend chasing big goals, every step taken helps support the HELP Pregnancy Center in Monticello, Kentucky.
This event is designed for everyone — first-time walkers, families, casual runners, seasoned marathoners, and ultrarunners alike. Our mission is simple: come together as a community to raise money, encourage one another, and make a meaningful impact for local families and lives in need.
How It Works
Participants may arrive and complete miles at any point during the event weekend. This is not your traditional race with strict start times or cutoffs — it’s a community-driven mileage challenge where every mile counts.
$10 entry fee includes a tracking bib for mileage counting.
Before the event, local businesses, churches, organizations, and private donors will contribute toward an overall fundraising goal.
Participants will then work together to match that support through total miles completed during the event.
Example:
If donors contribute $5,000, participants as a group will aim to complete 5,000 miles over the course of the weekend.
Our previous 20+ hour event set a goal of 1,000 miles — and together, 125 participants crushed that goal with an incredible 1,155 total miles completed!
No matter your pace or distance, your miles matter and your participation helps make a difference.
The Course
The course is a 1-mile loop, making it perfect for participants of all experience levels. Whether you want to walk a lap with friends, push for a personal record, or tackle an overnight ultra-distance effort, the loop format allows you to easily customize your experience.
Course Features:
Begins with an uphill section
Transitions into a flat portion
Finishes with a long downhill stretch covering nearly 0.60 miles
An indoor aid station will be located at the Start/Finish area and stocked throughout the event with:
Water
Coffee
Snacks and food
Additional donated items from local churches, organizations, and community members
Expect a welcoming atmosphere full of music, encouragement, and people cheering each other on through every mile.
