Kona Kids is a non-profit organization which empowers the kids of Kona (on the Big Island of Hawaii) by teaching ownership of mind, body, and goals. This race supports Kona Kids by donating all proceeds to it for *purchasing schools supplies and meals for the children Kona Kids cares for.
*This year's race is in honor of The Iron Tri-Dad (aka John W. McCoy) and proceeds will go to the McCoy College Scholarship for our Kona kids.
