From the Organizer
The JMH 5K/10K, presented by Gatorade, is Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026. The JMH 5K/10K is the longest, consecutive running event in Jacksonville. 2026 is our 32nd year.
Be prepared for a PR as both courses are flat and fast. Both courses start and finish on the east side of the campus (Founders Lane) of Jacksonville Memorial Hospital.
The first 200 runners to cross the finish line receive a custom finishers medal. First, second and third place awards are presented to males and females in 13 age categories. All paid runners receive a tech shirt, post-race refreshments and a chance to win some great prizes! We must receive your registration by noon, October 6, to guarantee a shirt.
Packet pickup for Springfield-area runners:
Thursday, October 15, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at the Springfield Running Center, 2943 West White Oaks Drive, Springfield. You may also register at pick-up.
Packet pickup for Jacksonville-area runners:
Friday, October 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the Main Lobby at JMH. You may also register at pick-up.
Packet pickup on race day:
Saturday, October 17, from 7-7:50 a.m.
Awards to top overall male and female finishers in each race and the first, second, and third place finishers, male and female, in the following age categories: under 14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 and over.
Showers available at Fitness World Health Club (south of the hospital/across the street) following the race. Runners must show race number at desk.
For the safety of each participant, headphones are strongly discouraged on the course. For the safety of participants and spectators, dogs are not allowed on the course or at the start/finish area.
Both courses are USA Track and Field-certified. Both races qualify for the SRRC Participation Series points.
Parking in Fitness World north lot (south and across the street from JMH) and lots on the south, north and east sides of the hospital. Watch for parking signs.
Proceeds from the 2026 event will be given to the Prairieland United Way.
