The premier running of the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway 10K provides an ideal tune-up for major Fall marathons scheduled the following month. The course is FAST and FLAT. Participants in this unique race will run along the scenic Hudson River Walkway with breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline. The Start will be in Edgewater, NJ , where parking will be provided, while runners from NYC can take the NY Waterways Ferry from W. 39th St. The Finish will be in Weehawken and NY Waterways will Ferry all participants back for Award Ceremonies and Festivities in Edgewater. The Race Course is USATF Certified, and will be officially timed.
New this year .... a 2K Run/Walk has been added on race day!
Free parking will be provided at Edgewater's Veteran's Field.
Runners from NYC can take the NY Waterways Ferry from W. 39th Street in Manhattan--a 15 minute ride, or NJ Transit Bus #158 from the 42nd Street, Port Authority Bus Terminal--a 40 minute ride. (See www.hudsonriverwaterfrontwalkway10krace.org for details)
