Historic Watertown Founders Day 5K

Historic Watertown will be hosting our inaugural Founders Day 5k and 1 mile fun walk. The race will take place on September 26, 2026 and will follow a course that makes its way through the city of Watertown Tennessee. Along the course you will make your way through the historic downtown district, pass by historic homes, and enjoy a 3.1 mile loop that captures the essence of our unique small town. Sign in will begin at 7am, with a race start time of 8am. Runners will have the option to be timed if you choose or you can come run/walk for just the fun of it. Proceeds from the run will be used to support the mission of the Historic Watertown organization, which is to preserve the historic heritage while also supporting community and economic growth. A portion of the fee for runners that are first responders will be donated to the local Watertown Volunteer Fire Department in appreciation for them supplying a fish fry following the run at our Founders Day Festival. All that attend the run are welcome to stay following the conclusion of the run to celebrate our inaugural Founders Day Festival which will include, food, music, and festival activities for the family.
