Helene Cody Cranbury 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

This event honors the memory of Helene Cody, who passed away from a brain aneurysm on her 16th birthday in 2008. Helene had planned to revive the Cranbury Day 5K that had been previously discontinued as a way to combine her love of running with her commitment to community service. After her passing, one of Helene's classmates hosted the inaugural Helene Cody Cranbury 5K to fulfill that vision. Since then, the race has become a beloved Cranbury Day tradition, bringing the community together while raising funds for the Helene Cody Foundation's youth service projects and scholarships. Every participant helps carry forward Helene's legacy of community, compassion, and caring.

T-shirts are guaranteed to those who register by August 6th! T-shirts will be given to registrants while supplies last for those who register after August 6th. 

Packet pickup nights are held on Wednesday, September 9th at Fleet Feet Princeton from 4-7 PM and Thursday, September 10th at the Cranbury branch of Princeton Soup and Sandwich Company from 4-6 PM. Those who have preregistered may pick up their T-shirt and race bib at this event to avoid the lines on race day.

Race day packet pickup is from 7:30-8:00 AM for the 1 Mile, and from 7:30-8:30 AM for the 5K at Heritage Park. 

All proceeds go to the Helene Cody Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity with the mission of inspiring youth to volunteer, to better their communities and themselves. Your donations will support youth-led projects benefiting Central NJ.
