HALA Hustle is a 5K Walk event to raise money and bring awareness for the work of The Harrisburg Area Learning Academy, Inc. Participants can choose to create or join a team to raise money for the 5K walk or they can sign up as an individual walker.
This event will be held at City Island-Riverfront Park on Saturday September 13th registration is from 8:30AM - 9:30 AM. The walk will start at 9:30AM and end at 11:00AM. Registration and the starting line will be at the City Island Carousel.
HALA, Inc is a clinical/ educational trauma informed and trauma trained organization working with other community agencies to equip at- risk children with the necessary behavioral and mental health tools to thrive and succeed in home, school and community environments. They are accustomed to and have been successful with treating urban inner-city youth and families in the Harrisburg, Lancaster, and Philadelphia areas.
