Join us for the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter Rescue Run on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at the Lackawanna Heritage Trail in Scranton.
This event will include a 5K, 10K, and Fun Walk, giving runners, walkers, families, and animal lovers a chance to come together for a great cause.
All proceeds benefit Griffin Pond Animal Shelter and help provide food, medical care, shelter, and second chances for animals in need.
Whether you run solo, walk with friends, or form a team, your participation will make a difference for the dogs and cats of Griffin Pond.
Race day begins at 9:00 AM at the Olive Street Pavilion. Registration is $30 for the 5K, $35 for the 10K, and $30 for the Fun Walk.
Each preregistered participant will receive a Rescue Run T-shirt.
