Friends of the Poor Walk at OLG Encino is a running race on October 3, 2026 in Encino, CA.
From the Organizer
Walk with purpose. Walk with heart. Walk with us.
Take a step toward helping your neighbors in need by participating in this year’s Friends of the Poor Walk, a leisurely and meaningful walk benefiting the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) at Our Lady of Grace Church (OLG). This family-friendly event is a way to get involved, show compassion, and directly support those facing hardship in our local community.
SVdP is a volunteer-led charity that assists individuals and families struggling with food insecurity, housing, utility bills, clothing, and other basic needs. Our help is open to everyone, regardless of background or faith. Every dollar raised through the walk stays in the community to help us provide emergency aid, hope, and dignity to those who need it most.
Whether you walk alone, with friends, with family, or as part of a team, your participation makes a real difference. After the walk, stick around for fellowship, light refreshments, and an opportunity to learn more about how your support creates change in people’s lives.
