Join us on October 3, 2026, as we work to raise $18,000 to assist local families facing financial hardship. Every year, the St. Katherine Drexel Conference helps approximately 600 individuals and families, providing critical assistance when it is needed most.
Join the Friends of the Poor® 5K Walk/Run at the beautiful Kings Landing Park in Huntingtown, Maryland. This professionally timed 5K race features a fast, mostly flat course that winds through scenic parkland and wooded trails, making it perfect for both competitive runners and casual participants.
Bringing the family?
Children ages 10 and under can participate in our fun-filled Kiddy-K, designed to encourage young runners while supporting a great cause.
Awards
Awards will be presented to the Overall Top Male and Female Finishers, as well as the Top Male and Female Finishers in each age division.
