The Freeway 5K Run for Recovery supports the mission of Freeway Sanford, a nonprofit organization helping individuals overcome addiction, homelessness, incarceration, and other life-controlling challenges.
Proceeds from this event help provide recovery support, mentorship, transportation, housing assistance, and life-changing opportunities for those working to rebuild their lives.
Together, we can help bring hope and restoration to our community.
Runners and walkers are all welcome to participate.
REGISTRATION
Early Adult Registration, (Now to September 1st) - $30
Adult Pre-Registration, (September 1st to September 9th) - $35
Final Adult Registration, (September 10th through Day of Race) - $45
AWARDS
Awards will be given in the following categories:
• Overall Top Male and Top Female.
• Top Three Males, Top Three Females in the following age categories: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-39, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+.

If you are not able to make it to pick up early, you may have a friend or family member pick up for you. No I.D. required. Also, we will have your packet available for pick up the morning of the event at the event site starting at 6:00am.
TIMING AND SCORING
This event will be chip timed using a disposable chip on the back of your bib. Please be sure to wear your bib on the front side just below your chest to ensure accurate scoring. Bibs not worn in the proper place may not receive a proper time. Results will be posted onsite day of race and online.
PARKING
Free parking located in the parking lots of Palmetto by the Civic Center and Chamber of Commerce.
RESTRICTIONS
For safety reasons, bicycles, skateboards, inline/roller skates, motorized carts of any kind and pets are not allowed on the race course. Baby strollers and baby joggers are welcome to participant, but must start at the back of the starting pack. Children riding in strollers or joggers do not need to be registered.
REFUND POLICY
There are no refunds or transfers for this event. This event will take place rain or shine.
