Flowing Forward 5k: Water for West Virginia is a running race on September 20, 2026 in Morgantown, WV, with an entry fee of $10.
From the Organizer
Join runners, walkers, students, families, and community members together to support stronger and more resilient water systems across West Virginia.
Hosted by Engineers Without Borders at West Virginia University, the race supports our work addressing water related challenges through engineering, education, service, and community partnerships. Whether you are racing for a personal best, walking with friends and family, or simply looking for a meaningful way to support West Virginia communities, everyone is welcome to participate.
The 5K will also serve as a Water Drive for West Virginia. Participants and community members are encouraged to bring unopened bottled water or make a monetary donation at the event. Collected water and funds will be used to help provide drinking water to West Virginia communities experiencing water outages or limited access to reliable water.
Every registration, donation, volunteer hour, and sponsorship helps us move toward a healthier and more resilient future for communities across the state.
