From the Organizer
Welcome to the "Fight the Flame" 5k race hosted by the Red Oak Community Rural Fire Department! We are a dedicated group of Volunteer Firefighters that put our very best towards serving the people of Greenville, NC. All of the funds raised from this event will go towards much needed resources such as training, equipment, gear, and truck maintenance. We are looking forward to racing with our community and fellow first responders!
Registration Fees:
Now - October 17th: $25
After October 17th: $30
Day of Race (11/14/2026): $35
Packet Pickup:
Packet Pickup will be available on November 12th and 13th from 7:30AM - 5:30PM at the Red Oak Community Rural Fire Department (925 W Star St Greenville, NC 27834).
Awards:
Overall 1st place male and female (winners will not be eligible for age group award).
1st & 2nd place finishers (male & female) in the following age groups: under 14, 15-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-59, 60+
Giveaway:
Every participant receives a race shirt! Register by October 24th to guarantee availability and preferred shirt size!
Course:
This course will be a road run, starting and finishing at Jaycee Park.
