For The Future Fast Trackers!
All are invited to bring out the kids for a night on the track!
Join the Fast Track Racing Team on Thursday night, August 6th at the Eisenhower Junior High track for a night of racing, fitness, and fun!
This run is FREE for all kids!
The distances offered are 100 meters, 400 meters, and 1600 meters (a metric mile). There will also be a 15-yard dash for your littlest ones. (We call it the "Barely Walking" Dash.) There will also be other goodies and food for the kids, plus medals for all participants.
Check in will begin at 6:00 PM. We will start with a group warm-up at 6:30 PM (parent instructions will also be given at this time), followed by the races, and event will end at 8:00 PM. Please try to arrive early. We will be on a rolling schedule, from the shortest distance to the longest distance, separating the kids into age groups for heats of each distance, so they can run against kids that are the same age. Your child can run as many of the races as he or she likes.
We will have clock to show times for the 400s and Miles, but there will not be any official results posted. This is a night of racing for fun.
THIS IS A CHILDREN'S RACE! While parents can run alongside their younger kids who might be a little scared, this is not an event that has been created for adults to participate. Only 18 and younger allowed to participate.

Eisenhower Junior High outdoor track (800 Hassell Rd, Hoffman Estates)
Please note, there are no bleachers at the track, so be sure to bring a chair if you want to sit. Please do not sit in the infield.
In the event of bad weather, we will reschedule to Thursday, August 13th.
