Location: Kindred Funeral Home, 400 Union Blvd., Englewood, Ohio.
Directions: Take I-70 to north on S.R. 48 (Englewood exit). Turn left on Wenger Rd. Right on Union Blvd., to Centennial Park. Registration is
in the Kindred Funeral Home parking lot on Union Blvd., across from Centennial Park. The race will start and finish on Union Blvd. near
Overla Blvd., just south of the funeral home.
Parking: Please park in the north field near the tennis courts at Centennial Park. NO PARKING in the funeral home parking lot.
Course: A flat, fast, 5K (Certified OH03019PR) through a residential area with mainly right turns and one incline followed by a small
down-hill. Traffic is controlled at major intersections, but runners should stay alert to traffic. The race finishes on the festival parade route.
Awards: The overall winner will receive a $40 gift card to Kroger Market Place. Also, a $20 - $15 - $10 gift certificate redeemable with any exhibitor at the Festival will be given to the top three men and women. Winners must be present to win gift certificates.
Gold, silver and bronze metals will also be given for the various age groups.
Male: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
Female: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60+.
Awards ceremony immediately following the race in the Kindred Funeral Home parking lot.
Fees: Entry fee is $25 (17-60+ with shirt), $20 (16 and under with shirt), or $15 (if you select "no shirt" during registration). Entrants wanting shirts must register on or before July 27th. Registration after July 27th is $17 (no shirt). Entrants 16yrs & Under receive $5.00 off registration Race Day registration begins at 7:00 AM. Extra shirts will be sold for $15 on race day, first come, first served. No guarantee of reorder.
Race Day Registration ends at 7:45 AM sharp.
